QUICKLY PACKING/UNPACKING A FILE |  |

USING THE WINDOWS CONTEXT MENUS:
by right clicking on a file, Windows displays a floating menu on which ZipWave
has inserted several commands (depending of the nature of the file). To compress
a file, simply right click on it, and choose command Add
to... or Add To Zip... For unpacking an
archive, right click on the file name and choose Extract
To... or Extract To Folder... However,
you should set this option using the ZipWave Options Panel. RETURN

CREATING AN ARCHIVE |  |

USING THE "NEW" COMMAND:
under the Windows Explorer, you can create a new zip file, by selecting the New
command in the File menu, and then ZipWave
File. RETURN

SENDING AN ARCHIVE BY EMAIL |  |
BY
USING THE "SEND" COMMAND OF ZIPWAVE:
once an archive is loaded into ZipWave, you can use the Send
command from the File menu to attach this archive
to an email! RETURN

SCANNING AN ARCHIVE FOR VIRUSES |  |

DECLARING AN ANTIVIRUS PROGRAM:
in the ZipWave Options Panel you can specify
an antivirus program. Then, you will be able to use the Scan
For Viruses command from the Actions menu
to inspect an archive!
 NOTE | Each
time you have a new archive (downloaded, found on a CD, etc...), do not hesitate
to scan it before extracting its content. Especially when you received archives
via e-mails. |

SORTING THE CONTENT OF AN ARCHIVE |  |

CLICKING ON TABLES HEADERS:
ZipWave presents the content of archives using tables. By clicking on columns
headers ( "name", "size",
etc...) ZipWave will sort the list ascending or descending ! RETURN

SEARCHING FOR FILES |  |
BY
USING THE "SEARCH MODE":
when an archive is opened under ZipWave, you can choose between several modes
for displaying its content. By selecting the Search
mode, ZipWave will propose you to input several criteria and will display
files matching them.

DRAG'N DROP |  |
ZipWave
takes advance of the drag'n drop technique. It means that you can drag'n drop
files from the Windows Explorer to the ZipWave window, and vise-versa. For
example, you can open an archive by drag dropping it to the ZipWave window. You
can also extract one or more files by dragging them from an opened Archive to a
disk folder ! RETURN

VIEWING THE CONTENT OF A FILE |  |

DOUBLE CLICKING ON THE FILE NAME:
when you double click on a file, ZipWave will open it using the associated

EXPLORING AN ARCHIVE |  |
THANKS
TO THE "EXPLORER" MODE: when
editing huge archive, it could be useful to display it using the Explorer
mode of ZipWave which shows the arborescence of the archive.

USING THE M.R.U. FILES LIST |  |
TO
QUICKLY LOAD MOST RECENT USED FILES: like in
most Windows applications, you can find at the end of the File
menu links to the 10 last used files. You can load one of these files by simply
selecting it. RETURN

PRINTING THE CONTENT OF AN ARCHIVE |  |
BY
USING THE "PRINT" COMMAND:
Once an archive is loaded into ZipWave you can print its content by using
the Print command from the File
menu.
 TIPS | PRINTING
PICTURES! If you are in Images
Mode, ZipWave will print the preview of the graphic files! Using the Picture
Viewer of ZipWave you can print pictures individually. |
