the top of the main window of ZipWave you will find a
range of menus. In these menus you will find all possible functions and actions
you can do on archive files. Depending of the nature of the current archive,
some of these functions may be disabled. - NEW
ARCHIVE
Creates
a new ZIP file. . - OPEN
ARCHIVE
Opens
and loads an already existing archive from the disk. . - CLOSE
ARCHIVE
Closes
the current archive document. . - SAVE
AS...
Creates
a copy of the current archive elsewhere on the disk. . - EXPORT
AS...
ZipWave
can export the list of files contained in an archive in several formats : .- HTML
FILE
Saves
the list of files in a formatted form into an HTML files. This file can then be
displayed into an Internet browser. . - CSV
FILE (separator: comma)
TEXT FILE (separator: tab) TEXT FILE (separator:
space) In these modes, ZipWave saves the list of files into text files
and separates each column using the specified separator character. . Most
of programs can retrieve the structure of tables using these kind of
files. .
- PRINT
Prints
the content of the archive. Depending of current viewing mode, more or less
files can be printed. . - PRINT
PREVIEW
Displays
a print preview of the document. In this mode ZipWave, shows you exactly how
will print a document. . - PRINT
SETUP
Opens
the Windows print setup panel, which lets you select printer preferences. . - SEND
Attaches
the current archive to an email. . - PREFERENCES
Displays
the Zipwave options panel . - EXIT
Closes
all opened documents and exits the program
RETURN - COPY
Copies
selected files into the windows clipboard. Then once copied, you can paste them
elsewhere for extracting them! . - SELECT
ALL
Selects all files. . - INVERSE
SELECTION
Unselects selected files, and selects those which weren't
selected. (Cleaver!) . - PROPERTIES
Displays
the Properties of the current selected file.RETURN
The

Hides
or shows the ZipWave toolbar (See: ToolBar)

BAR
Hides or shows the status bar on which ZipWave displays several
information.

Hides or shows the ZipWave Explorer Tree which lets you
access quickly disks and partitions but also the ZipWave online help. (See: ZipWave

The
following commands modify the way ZipWave displays the content of archives. - ALL
FILES
Displays all files contained in an archive. The is the default
"classical" mode for displaying the content of an archive. (See: All
Files Mode)
- EXPLORER
Displays
the arborescence of sub-folders and files of an archive. (See: Explorer
Mode)
- SEARCH
This
mode lets you find one ore more files contained in the archive. (See: Search
Mode)
- INFORMATION
Displays
several information about the archive. (See: Information
Mode)

Opens
the current selected file using the associated program. . - ADD
Adds
one or more files to the archive. (See: Adding Files) . - EXTRACT
Extracts
current selected files to a disk folder. (See: Folders
Selector) . - DELETE
Deletes
selected files from the archive. . - RENAME
Lets
you change the name of the current selected file. (See: File

DATE & TIME
Changes
the date and time of the current selected file(s). (See: File

Changes
the attributes of the current selected file(s) (read only, hidden, system, and

PATH
Moves
the file elsewhere in the archive. (See: File

COMMENT
Edits
the comment attached to a file. (See: File
Properties) . - VIEW
Views
the content of a file using several methods. (See: View
Window) . - SCAN
FOR VIRUSES
Scans
the current archive using an antivirus program to determine if the archive is
infected or not by viruses. . - MAKE
.EXE FILE
Converts the current
archive into a self-extracting file. It means that the resulting file will be
able to extract itself without the needed of any program. . - TEST
Tests
the integrity of the archive. This function can be use to verify that an archive
has not been damaged or corrupted somehow. . - CHECKOUT
Extracts
the entire archive into a temporary folder so that you can inspect files. (See: Checkout) . - INSTALL
If
ZipWave detects the present of an install.exe or setup.exe file, ZipWave can
install the files contained in the archive directly ! . - PASSWORD
Opens
the Password window in which you can enter a passewod which will be used to
encrypt added files.. (See: Password) . - STOP
USINGPASSWORD
Tells ZipWave to stop
using a password when adding files. (See: Password)

Here
is a collection of tools provided by ZipWave. In fact, for the moment, there is
"only" one tool ! It consists in an Archive Converter. With such a
name you can easily understand the purpose of this tool. It will help you
