| WinMaster includes a
powerful tool for quickly finding one or more files on you computer. WinMaster™
Finder
- Name :
Specify the name of the file to search for. This name can be composed of generic
characters such as "*" or "?". So it is possible to type a search mask to retrieve several files at the same time. For example, by typing
"*.bmp", WinMaster will retrieve all files with the extension "BMP" (meaning Window bitmap pictures). . - Location
:
This combo lets you select the starting point of the search. . - Browse...
:
Enable selecting a specific folder. . - Include sub-directories :
Enable
or disables including sub directories to the search. If this option is tuned on, it means that for each folder browsed, WinMaster will also search in its
sub-directories. . - Search in current list :
Tell WinMaster to search one or
more files into the last search result. . - Add search :
Add newly founded
files to the current list. By default, each time you run WinMaster Finder, it deletes the previously search result first. . - Result
:
Here are listed all files corresponding to the mask typed in Name. WinMaster proposes several view modes. First one displays all founded
files. Second one only displays directories containing one or more files corresponding to the search mask. The following tabs show founded files disk per disk. . - Start
:
Run the search process.
