| The Screen Capture
Function lets you copy all or part of your computer screen into WinMaster. More than simply snapping your screen, WinMaster can also save this picture into a
BMP file for being reused in other programs. But it can also directly export these pictures using the Windows clipboard. So it means you can "paste"
these pictures in any of your applications. (which support pictures).  WinMaster™
: Screen Capture
- Save :
Save the current picture into a disk file in BMP. The BMP format is used to
store these pictures on disk because this is the native format of Windows (since version 3.0) and every application can load this kind of pictures. However, you
can save this picture into a different file format by using the pictures viewer of WinMaster by clicking on the
"view" button (represented by an eye). . - Copy to clipboard :
Copy
the current picture into the clipboard of Windows. So this picture can be retrieved in any application using a simple "Paste" command. . - Print
:
Print the current picture.
WARNING : this command prints directly the
current picture without displaying a preview before. If you want to get a preview, you should use the "Print Preview" function of WinMaster. This
function is accessible from the title bar of pages.
- View :
Display the
current picture in a secondary independent window (see Pictures viewer for more details). . - Delete
:
Delete the current picture from the page. . - Hot Key :
When
starting the capture, WinMaster main window disappears and you should have to press a specific key to capture the current screen. You can choose the key you
want to use for acquiring the screen from this combo box in which are listed predefined system keys. . - Modifiers
:
You can also choose a combination of keys to start screen capture, this can also be useful to avoid conflicts with other running programs which may
have already reserved some shortcuts keys. . - Capture :
WinMaster™ offers
the possibility to choose which kind of capture to operate. The following options let you choose which part of the screen to capture. . - Full
Screen :
In this mode, the whole screen is captured. . - Window :
Capture
the active window, including its client area but also caption, status bars, etc... . - Client
:
Capture the client area of the current active Window. . - Multiple Captures
:
By default, once the screen has been captured, WinMaster main window is restored and you cannot capture an other screen and you must press one more
time the "Start" button to proceed a new capture. Thanks to the "Multiple captures" options, you can press the capture key as many
time as you want and capture as many screens as you need without getting the WinMaster main window restored. To stop the capture process, you should manually
restore the WinMaster window by clicking on the associated button from the Windows taskbar. . - Start
:
Start the screen capture process. For that the main window of WinMaster™ will be miniaturized and the program will wait the selected hot key to be
pressed.
